DAWOODIA CLINIC:

GENERAL CONSULTATIONS PROVIDED

“We are fortunate to continue serving residents of Dawoodia IDP Camp during this pandemic, April
blessed us with pleasant weather that proved especially convenient as staff and patients
continued to comply with COVID-19 related restrictions, mainly waiting outside to avoid crowds in our reception room
and utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE). Nearly 1,000 patients visited the clinic this
month, most commonly for hypertension, musculoskeletal pain, type 2 diabetes and chronic
ischemic heart disease. Although our physiotherapy groups have been temporarily discontinued
due to the coronavirus, our laboratory, micro laboratory, vaccinations, mental health, and
prenatal services continue to operate fully.”

– Brenda Hershey, Dawoodia Field Coordinator.
